An archaeological test trenching programme was carried out along a proposed access road to a new school development in north county Dublin on 11 May 2023. A single nineteenth-century field drain was identified in the southern end of the trench close to a powerline pole. It contained a ceramic drainage pipe at the base on the west side and modern waste in the upper part of the fill. An engineering slit trench was also monitored in the north-west corner of site.
Nothing of archaeological interest was identified within this trench.
