A Community Monuments Fund grant was awarded in 2023 for repairs of roof slates, roof lead, chimneys and parapets at Drimnagh Castle, Longmile Road, Dublin 12. These works were archaeologically monitored during late 2023 and into early 2024. The built fabric being repaired was dated to the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. The archaeological report associated with this work discusses the overall phasing of the castle, building on the 2022 conservation plan.
