Archaeological monitoring of sub-750mm excavations was undertaken for this scheme and involved excavations for light pole foundation pits and test pits excavated in order to ascertain the locations and depths of existing watermains. The majority of works were concerned with resurfacing, etc., and did not require monitoring. No archaeological material was identified or disturbed in the course of monitoring.
