Archaeological monitoring was carried out for site-wide topsoil-stripping and excavation of foundations and services (max. depth c.1.8m) in an area of c.0.42 hectares at the junctions of Main Street and Boherboy Road, Saggart, Co. Dublin.
The ground-disturbance works were monitored under archaeological supervision in order to identify any subsurface archaeological objects, features and deposits that may have been present. The monitoring works were undertaken between 6 November 2023 and 14 December 2023.
No potential archaeological objects, features or deposits were revealed during archaeological monitoring of excavation works at Saggart, Co. Dublin.
