Archaeological test trenching was carried out here in April and August 2023. Fifty-seven test trenches were proposed within the development area, and an area of topsoil strip on the site of a building marked on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map.
Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered within the area of topsoil strip located on the site of a building recorded on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey Map or in any of the other excavated test trenches.
