A small archaeological excavation that was carried out at the site known as High Trees, Donaghadee, County Down - Phase 4: G & H of the development.
The archaeology excavated and recorded included a burnt mound spread with an underlying sub-circular trough dated to 2457 – 2204 BC (UBA-51609) and a nearby sub-rectangular trough dated to 1518 – 1427 BC (UBA-51610). In addition, two small sub-circular pits of unknown date were also excavated and recorded.
