A programme of archaeological testing consisting of the excavation of 12 linear trenches (535m in total) was carried out at Rockytown, Ballymacarry townland, Buncrana, County Donegal in advance of a proposed housing development. No features, or deposits of archaeological consequence were observed within the trenches during these works.
