Topsoil removal was archaeologically monitored within the subject development site. No finds, features or deposits of an archaeological nature were noted during the monitoring of these works. The presence of the previously unrecorded millrace, which was revealed during archaeological testing (22E0541) of the site, was noted during monitoring and this feature has been preserved in situ. During vegetation clearance at the southern margin of the site a small likely 19th- or 20th-century bridge-like structure was noted.
