Archaeological monitoring of open-cut trench excavation was undertaken in part of a scheme associated with the laying 2,620m of water pipes in Kerry Pike village, in the townland of Coolymurraghue, Co. Cork. The north-east corner of the works is located approximately 20m and 40m south of two possibly prehistoric burnt mounds (CO073-109001&002).
