A programme of archaeological test trenching was undertaken in Kilshinahan townland, Timoleague, Co. Cork in relation to a proposed solar farm development.

A geophysical survey was undertaken, the results of which informed the layout of the trenches.

Nothing of archaeological significance was identified during the course of this programme of test trenching.
