2023:099 - Ballinoroher, Timoleague, Cork

Monitoring of ground disturbance works associated with the construction of a livestock underpass on a farm in Ballinoroher/Carhoo, Timoleague, Co. Cork was undertaken. The underpass and access farm road on the eastern side are located to the immediate north of enclosure CO136-005. The enclosure is located on a different land holding. The removal of all topsoil from the area of both access roads and site of the underpass was monitored. In addition, the removal of some of the natural subsoil from the site of the underpass and the access road to the north of the enclosure was also monitored. No archaeological stratigraphy, features or artefacts were recorded.
