Testing took place over 8 days from 7 February 2023. The purpose of the programme of archaeological testing was to establish if anomalies identified through geophysical surveys (Nichols 2021, Licence no. 21R0226 & Nichols 2023, Licence no. 22R0241) were archaeological and if so, the nature, extent and character of any remains. The testing revealed six areas of archaeological material. All had been first identified through geophysical survey and confirmed by test excavations. The six areas comprised three probable ring-ditches, and three clusters of pits. One of the pit clusters contained typical burnt mound material and may be the ploughed-out remains of such a site.
