Trenching was carried out from 26 July 2017 to 2 August 2023. Archaeological material was uncovered within four of the seven test trenches. This was in the form of between 40 and 50 potential grave cuts and the remains of a building in Trench 3, which may be the one depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey Map.
