Archaeological monitoring took place in advance of the construction of a primary care facility and associated site works at Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
The site has seen extensive ground disturbance. The ground was for the most part disturbed by on average a depth of 1m when a builder’s yard was constructed in the 1980s. The absence of human remains or disarticulated remains mixed with building debris in Boland's Yard suggests that the burial ground may not have extended into this site. The only features identified comprised two late 19th-century wells and no further finds or features of archaeological significance were exposed.
