Archaeological monitoring took place in advance of development for a domestic wastewater treatment plant and associated site works, house extension and garden at Cloneen, Sevenchurches or Camaderry at Glendalough Co. Wicklow. Monitoring covered all three areas: the percolation and septic tank, the garden, and the house extension.
The ground was scanned with a metal detector (licence R000542) and visually inspected for stray finds. Pottery recovered was all modern, dating to the 21st century, while metal finds were iron, including farm tools, a nail, and a horseshoe all of which were post-medieval. No archaeologically significant features were found.
