Archaeological monitoring was carried out for groundworks (consisting of four exploratory trenches) within the Zone of Notification of and 20m to the east of ringfort (SL008-065) for the Carney and Coolbeg Water Mains Scheme in Co. Sligo. The scheme was located along the western end of the L3303 road near Carney village.
No potential archaeological finds, features, or deposits were noted during the course of the archaeological monitoring.
