Two archaeological test trenches, totalling 20 linear meters, were excavated within the grounds of the former Meath County Infirmary at Navan, County Meath. This programme of testing was carried out in response to a request for further information issued by the planning authority. The site is located within the Zone of Archaeological Potential associated with the historic town of Navan (ME025-044----).
