A programme of advanced archaeological test trenching was carried out at a proposed development site at Franciscan College, Gormanston, County Meath in order to identify and assess any previously unrecorded sub-surface archaeological remains.
Seven archaeological test trenches, totalling 700 linear meters, were excavated across the proposed development area. No archaeology was found.
