The programme of archaeological testing undertaken on 11 June 2021 included the excavation of eight linear test trenches, totalling 202 linear meters. The site had been subject to modern interventions, ground reduction, etc. (as proven by the excavation of the trenches) and as noted during a previous walkover survey, the site is of low archaeological potential. Nothing archaeological significance was identified in any of the trenches and no archaeological artefacts were found during a metal-detection survey of the topsoil from the trenches.
