Two trenches were excavated across the subject site in advance of the construction of a single house development. The topsoil on the site had a depth ranging from 0.8–1.3m across the site. A number of modern features possibly associated with drainage were found within one trench. A number of modern active services such as drainage pipes, ESB and water pipes were found during the testing.
No archaeological features were encountered.
