Conservation works in 2022 at Clomantagh medieval church, Co. Kilkenny enabled a close inspection of the bellcote and a clear view of the structure with ivy removed. Voids at the base of the bellcote suggest a wooden frame was built into the stonework. No additional features came to light, and no ground disturbance took place.
