Conservation works at Dunkitt medieval church, Co. Kilkenny included the dismantling and reconstruction of the north-west corner of the building. Dismantling the corner buttress revealed a quantity of bottle glass and preparing a foundation for the repaired corner exposed the plinth at the original corner of the church, but did not penetrate the deep graveyard soil and did not unearth any skeletal material.
