Archaeological monitoring of groundworks associated with a development was undertaken by Tim Coughlan, Jean Gill-Pollock and Barry Lacey of IAC Archaeology. It follows on from archaeological testing carried out in February 2018 by Stephen Hickey, of Courtney Deery (licence 18E0598), and subsequent excavations carried out in 2019 by David Bayley, of IAC Archaeology, under licence 18E0598 ext.
Monitoring was carried out between April and May 2022; nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered during monitoring and it was obvious the reduced area had been heavily disturbed in the past and used as a dumping ground.
