Site Investigation works consisting of 30 trial pits, eleven soak away pits and ten plate-bearing tests, in advance of a proposed development in the townland of Jigginstown, Co. Kildare, were carried out under archaeological supervision from February to March 2022. Works were conducted as part of due diligence at the pre-planning stage. The monitoring works were carried out as unlicenced monitoring.
No potential archaeological finds, features, or deposits were noted during the course of the archaeological monitoring.
