Archaeological monitoring of the removal of two picnic table hardstands located adjacent to Dunmore Abbey (National Monument No. 273) was carried out on 24 August 2022. The works involved no excavation as the concrete slabs were simply lifted and removed before the original topsoil was replaced and the sites raked flat in preparation for re-seeding. No archaeology was found.
