The archaeological excavation of four test trenches was mechanically excavated. The trenches were excavated in spits and the material spread out. No features and/or finds of archaeological significance were encountered during the course of the testing. A metal detection device was utilised to further facilitate the detection of any metal artefacts.
Archaeological monitoring of excavations was carried out from 4–8 November, 2022 . No features and/or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
