Archaeological testing was carried out on 14 March 2022 using a mechanical excavator fitted with a flat grading bucket. The trenches targeted open green space at the eastern extent of the development to fully investigate the archaeological potential of the site. The trenches were located in close proximity to the 2021 test trenches (Nà Cheallacháin & Murtagh, Licence 21E0073).
Due to a high level of ground disturbance only two trenches were excavated. Testing revealed no areas of archaeological significance which aligns with the results of the 2021 programme of archaeological test trenching.
