Fourteen trenches were mechanically excavated across a circular enclosure and adjoining ground identified in a geophysical survey undertaken in 2017. The enclosure appears to be defined by a pair of slot trenches set on a limestone outcrop. A small number of additional features were identified in adjoining ground including possible pits and deposits. No finds were revealed. Outcropping bedrock and drainage features were also identified in the trenches. Additional work will be undertaken.
