Two trenches were mechanically excavated adjacent to an upstanding dwelling house which it is proposed to demolish and rebuild. Evidence of garden features including a wall were identified. No evidence of the ecclesiastical site which is reputed to be on the site was noted. No archaeological features or finds were identified.
