Sixteen trenches were mechanically excavated across the site of proposed playing pitches and associated facilities. A buffer zone around the fulacht fia was previously agreed and this area was not tested. Inclusions of heat-shattered stone were apparent in one of the trenches at the edge of the buffer zone associated with the ploughed-out remains of the fulacht fia. No other archaeological features or finds were identified.
