Archaeological monitoring took place of excavation at the rear of an existing building. The sod and topsoil (up to 0.4m in depth) overlay an orange brown sandy silty subsoil. The subsoil was excavated for a depth of 0.2m and overlay a grey silt. In addition to the excavation of the foundations, the sod and topsoil in the interior were excavated for a depth of 0.2m. No features and or finds of archaeological significance were revealed during the course of the excavations.
