Test trenching was carried out of a proposed development site approximately 200m north of the village of Quin, to the west of regional road R469. The site comprises an irregular parcel of undulating pasture covering an area of approximately 0.48ha, which is part of a larger plot, currently undeveloped and used as pasture. Six trenches were excavated; no archaeological deposits were identified..
