Previous works on the site (AE/2018/133) of 10 Church Bay, Rathlin had uncovered the burial of a Viking Age woman, buried with two brooches.

This final phase of works on the site involved the re-excavation of some of the foundations, and the removal of old electricity cables and water pipes. Nothing further of an archaeological nature was uncovered.
