The excavation at Manse Road to Main Road, Ballycarry uncovered evidence of occupation and activity within the site from the Late Bronze Age until the post-medieval period.
Archaeology uncovered included a Bronze Age Ring ditch and a Late Bronze Age cremation, dated to 1109-923 BC.
An Early Medieval corn-drying kiln was dated to AD 596-656, and contained kiln furniture and highly fragmented and burnt Souterrain Ware pottery.
A rare late medieval/early post-medieval house was radiocarbon dated to between 1459-1632 AD.
