An excavation took place in advance of the construction of a residential dwelling at Killann, Co. Wexford. The siteĀ is located approximately 100m northwest of the medieval parish church of Killann (WX018- 012001). This church site is surrounded by large sub-circular enclosure (WX018- 012003), which measures c. 120m in diameter
One feature of archaeological significance was identified, a shallow pit which contained Leinster Cooking Ware and a ceramic lamp. This feature was fully excavated, and test sections were excavated through furrows and a drain which were agricultural in origin and not of archaeological significance.
