The client, OLI Developments Ltd, is undertaking the proposed erection of 15 detached 2-storey houses (in lieu of 13 houses previously permitted under Planning Reg. W2010050) together with all associated site works. Condition No. 12 of Planning Permission Ref 20181817 identifies requirement for Archaeological Test Excavation.
Test excavation took place on 17 June 2021 of the brown field area subject to development. It was found that the shallow skin of topsoil overlay a natural subsoil throughout. No archaeology was encountered.
