Archaeological monitoring was undertaken with regard to the construction of an access ramp to serve the Southeast Greenway at Abbey Road, Abbeylands, Ferrybank, Co. Waterford. Vegetation removal and topsoil stripping was completed along the entirety of the proposed access ramp, comprising of a linear section measuring c.90m in length. Some clearance works also took the place in close proximity to the Gate Lodge (Reg. No. 22900906), however no ground impact works were undertaken in this area. No archaeological features, deposits or artefacts were found during the monitoring.
