Archaeological monitoring was carried out as a condition of planning for the proposed construction of a new slatted shed for cattle within the curtilage of a protected structure and two recorded monuments. The monuments are located 167m south of the development and comprise a designed landscape feature (TN040-045) associated with a country house (TN040-018), known as Castle Fogarty.
An archaeological presence was maintained during the entire course of the works and no features or finds of archaeological significance was uncovered.
