Archaeological monitoring of the removal of sod and topsoil in the two fields in the townlands of Knockharley and Flemingstown revealed no features and/or artefacts of archaeological significance. The stratigraphy encountered revealed the sod and topsoil coming down onto the natural, with numerous drains, some modern and some 19th-century, running north-south and east-west through the area.
