Two test trenches were excavated within the site. Each trench measured 1.8m in width, and in total, 110m of linear trenches were excavated. The test trenches were excavated down to the natural subsoil. In general, the trenches revealed a mid-grey brown sandy clay topsoil and sod with a combined depth of c. 0.3m, overlying creamy stony brown boulder clay natural.
No archaeological features or deposits were identified, and no finds were recovered.
