An archaeological watching brief was carried out on the 14th and 15th of June 2021.
Of the 82 trenches in the archaeological programme of works only Trenches 48 to 80 and Trench 82, which lay within the southern half of the site, were excavated at this stage. Nothing of an archaeological nature was uncovered in any of these trenches.
