A metal detecting survey and archaeological watching brief were undertaken on the 31st March 2021. This work was required as part of the planning conditions for the creation of a new walking trail.
The metal detecting survey of Section 3 uncovered seven metal artefacts, including buckles and a small calibre musket ball.
Nothing of an archaeological nature was uncovered during the watching brief.
