Archaeological monitoring continued at Pelletstown, Dublin 15 in 2021 for the construction of a new school. It followed on from works in 2020 (refer Giacometti 2020:388) which uncovered the remains of a large sandpit quarry and associated metalled path. The quarry and a second metalled path were identified in 2021. Consequent backfilling of the quarry and landscaping associated with Pelletstown house was also in evidence. In addition to this there was some evidence of a brickfield at or near the site from a layer of brick dust and scorched earth.
