Significant levels of large-scale disturbance were noted at the site of the permitted development in advance of the archaeological monitoring works.
No features of archaeological potential were identified during archaeological monitoring of the removal of hardcore material at the site of Units 628 and 634. The area had been previously stripped of all topsoil and ground reduction works had been carried out across the site as a part of a previous development. There was little to no potential for features of archaeological potential to have survived within the development site.
