Excavation took place of a c.1750 Catholic Chapel (DU018-020161) foundations and the aborted 19th-century footprint of the failed expansion of the chapel into a church, all of which overlay fragments of a c.1659-1662 constructed timber revetment and reclamation deposits fronting onto Lazar's Hill (modern Townsend Street).
