Archaeological test trenching was carried out at Phase C of a proposed residential development at Wattstown, Coleraine, between 29 November and 7 December 2021.
Three pits were uncovered, with one pit containing 56 pieces of struck flint. Lithic analysis has determined that the flint work likely dates to the Bronze Age.
Nothing else of archaeological significance was uncovered within any of the other excavated trenches.
