This licence was issued to govern archaeological monitoring of the removal of household and farmyard waste from a deep trench which had been dug immediately outside the enclosing bank of a hillfort, CO067-001001-, on its northern side. The trench was c. 60m long, 4m wide and 2m deep. The waste was removed by tracked digger under archaeological supervision. No archaeology was found in the trench. The trench was subsequently backfilled.
