Archaeological testing was carried out to establish the outer limit of a levelled ringfort, prior to the submission of a planning application for a proposed dwelling house. Five trenches were excavated, radiating out from the presumed location of the ringfort, based on its depiction on historic maps. The ringfort ditch was located in four of the trenches and was not further investigated. It was not found in trench T2 which extended to the south-east. It is presumed this was the location of the ringfort entrance. No artefacts were found.
