Archaeological monitoring of topsoil stripping was carried out in advance of construction of a single dwelling house and ancillary services. An irregular spread of angular stones with a pocket of charcoal was identified during topsoil stripping. This was investigated by hand and was most likely to have been related to land clearance. No finds were located.
