Archaeological monitoring was carried out during groundworks relating to a sewerage scheme, including construction of a waste water treatment plant and a pump station, along with excavation of pipe trenches. Monitoring of topsoil stripping at the waste water treatment site revealed the remains of a burnt stone mound that was subsequently excavated under a separate licence (21E0776). Monitoring of topsoil stripping, tank excavation and pipe laying at the pumping station site revealed that this area on the edge of Liscannor harbour has been heavily disturbed.
